Eight Years and Counting
At the time of writing this, we find ourselves marking SEADREAM’s 8th anniversary and it’s not without celebration. SEADREAM was founded in September 2001, almost coinciding with the tragic September 11th attacks. Travel of all types had come to an abrupt halt just days after we opened our doors and was permanently changed thereafter.
Our dedicated and hard working team kept their focus on the future. I recall many long days and nights of collaborating on everything from brochures to itineraries to mountain bikes. Our excitement could not be contained or hampered. We knew we had a wonderful yachting concept that travelers would be ready to embrace. And so it was. SEADREAM proceeded to win numerous awards over the years from authoritative guidebooks and some of the most prestigious travel publications in the world. With little to no advertising, both SEADREAM I & II were finding themselves at 100% occupancy year after year. Our guests were telling us we “got it right.”
I sit today as the proud President of SEADREAM YACHT CLUB. I thank our wonderful staff onboard the yachts as well as those in our Oslo and Miami offices who all work tirelessly to make sure your needs and expectations are always met with a smile. I thank you, our loyal past guests, for sailing with us and sharing your experience with friends. It is you, who have led to much of our success.
Time has passed quickly; the year will be coming to an end shortly. I am already focused on 2010 and beyond; excited about what our future holds. One thing is certain; our focus remains to be providing you an unparalleled yachting holiday.
